About The Position

As a Security Officer - Bike Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Security experience of 5+ years is required.
  • Able to ride a bike is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor processing and/or badge issuance per site policy, and document entries and exits as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal teams and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, campus, and/or facility areas including exterior perimeters, checking doors, gates, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Use security-related technology such as CCTV, alarms, radios, and incident reporting tools to observe conditions, report hazards or suspicious activity, and complete timely, detailed reports.
