Requirements

  • Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures for a financial institution location.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in and sign-out documentation, and directing authorized guests to the appropriate areas.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, and report irregular activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general assistance, and escalate concerns to the appropriate contact while maintaining professional front desk standards.
  • Complete detailed written reports and electronic logs of daily activities, incidents, and service requests, and support shift-to-shift communication through accurate documentation.
  • Support client-specific loss prevention and compliance requirements by following confidentiality expectations and handling sensitive information in accordance with site policy.
  • Participate in required trainings and briefings, follow Allied Universal standards, and cooperate with site audits and/or inspections related to security-related operations.
