As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting a professional lobby experience while assisting with access control, visitor check-in, badge management, and monitoring cameras and alarms. You will help to identify and report security-related concerns, communicate clearly with staff and guests, and contribute to a caring, people-first culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
  • Control access at the main entry by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing the sign-in process, and directing guests to the appropriate location.
  • Monitor alarm panels, cameras, and communications systems; report unusual activity and document observations per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and supporting emergency response activities.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and shift handoffs, and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and on-site staff.
