As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication and quick reporting. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to client staff and visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter at a financial services location to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and report suspicious activity through the established chain of command.
  • Complete accurate reports and logs, communicate site conditions and incident details to client representatives and Allied Universal leadership, and support business continuity procedures during disruptions.
