As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and driver check-ins, and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver strong customer service. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery logs.
• Screen and direct inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic, coordinate with shipping and receiving teams, and help to deter unauthorized access and/or tailgating.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, access disputes, and medical or fire-related events per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, monitor doors, gates, and docks for irregular activity, and complete required reports and documentation.
