Job Description As a Security Officer Badge Issuance in Burbank, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control and/or badge activity, and complete routine patrols to help support a secure environment. Your visible presence, strong communication, and customer service will help to deter security-related incidents while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, visitor processing, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and credential checkpoints to help control site access for employees, contractors, visitors, and/or deliveries.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access control concerns, and/or security-related issues.
Document visitor activity, access exceptions, incident details, and other security-related information in site logs and/or reporting systems.
