Join Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, support visitor processing, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document site access activity in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Support security-related operations by reporting unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized access, and following post orders related to industrial equipment, materials, and restricted areas.
