Join Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, support visitor processing, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document site access activity in accordance with location protocols.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Support security-related operations by reporting unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized access, and following post orders related to industrial equipment, materials, and restricted areas.
