Requirements

This is primarily a driving post.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor management protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas such as offices, data halls, and support spaces.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records, issue temporary credentials as directed, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues according to post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining attentive to access control concerns, equipment status, and other site conditions that may vary by location.
