Job Description As a Security Officer - Badge Access in Edmond, OK , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will manage access control at entry points, verify credentials, log visitors and vehicles, and support orderly traffic flow for employees and deliveries. You will conduct routine rounds as assigned, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, and directing drivers and guests to the proper check-in areas.
  • Manage vehicle and trailer gate operations by checking inbound and outbound documentation, coordinating with site contacts for authorization, and documenting activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed and completing required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter, and monitor alarms and camera systems to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
