About The Position

As a Security Officer - Automotive Yard Patrol in Fremont, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive manufacturing and/or service areas, parking lots, loading zones, and the outer perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Control access to the property by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying authorized access, and directing visitors, deliveries, and contractors to proper check-in locations.
Monitor security-related cameras, alarms, and other systems as assigned and report irregular activity according to site procedures.
Complete routine foot and/or vehicle patrol checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas and report maintenance or security-related concerns.
Document patrol activities, incidents, and daily observations in written reports and/or electronic systems per site requirements.
Provide traffic and pedestrian flow support as needed during shift changes and peak activity times, following site-specific direction.
Communicate with site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate and assist with evacuation and/or shelter-in-place procedures when directed.
Maintain a professional presence, follow post orders, and support a respectful workplace while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity.
