About The Position

As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Specialist in South Pasadena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the location. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions based on the specific site.
Help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property within the automotive setting.
Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain an orderly and secure environment.
