As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect people and property.
Support hospital staff during incidents and/or emergencies by following established protocols and working collaboratively with on-site personnel.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the healthcare location.
Maintain a visible and professional presence while on duty to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
