About The Position

As a Security Officer - Auto Guest Services in Camden, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in an automotive environment, you will serve as the first point of contact, providing a welcoming presence while monitoring access and assisting visitors. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible and professional demeanor, supporting a secure atmosphere. Requirements

  • At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all front desk activities, including visitor logs, incident reports, and other security-related documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding any security-related issues or concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following site-specific protocols.
  • Support a welcoming and professional environment at the front desk while helping to deter disruptive or suspicious behavior.
