About The Position

As a Security Officer - Assembly Plant Rover in Rancho Cordova, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site policy, and document entries, exits, deliveries, and contractor activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, and medical and/or fire-related calls, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
  • Complete shift reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate status updates to supervision and site leadership in accordance with post orders.
