As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, document observations, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors while delivering a customer-focused experience. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and other security-related protocols at an industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site emergency response steps and notifying appropriate contacts.
- Control access at gates and/or building entrances by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor entry, and directing traffic flow as needed.
- Complete required reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant updates to supervision and/or client contacts.
