As a Security Officer - Armed Utility Site Patrol - Full Time in West Chester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a utilities location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will carry out your responsibilities with professionalism while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using training and judgment to address issues as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the utility location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or potential hazards.
Carry and maintain readiness with assigned arms in accordance with company and client policies, adhering to all legal requirements.
Document and report any incidents, observations, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel promptly and accurately.
Work collaboratively with client staff, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
Remain alert and attentive while monitoring access points and conducting patrols, being prepared to respond to security-related concerns or emergencies.
