As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will conduct routine armed patrols and maintain a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This position requires driving and carrying a firearm while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required for an armed patrol position.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to established protocols.
  • Assist with crowd control and/or traffic management when necessary, supporting the operations of government facilities.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as needed to address incidents and support ongoing security-related operations.
