As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will conduct routine armed patrols and maintain a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This position requires driving and carrying a firearm while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required for an armed patrol position.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to established protocols.
Assist with crowd control and/or traffic management when necessary, supporting the operations of government facilities.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as needed to address incidents and support ongoing security-related operations.
