As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. This armed position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a team that values integrity, reliability, and putting people first. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide a point of contact for visitors and staff.
Handle access control and verify identification as required by site-specific guidelines.
Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency services during critical incidents as directed.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
