You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle-area patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and incidents with calm, professional communication. Working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, you will deliver a people-first experience, provide customer service to staff and visitors, and act with integrity on every shift.

Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years' armed security/law enforcement/military experience.
• Provide proof of HS diploma/GED as required by the client.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with management and/or local emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM and vestibule areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring entry and exit points, and maintaining visitor and/or contractor logs per site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or location representatives.
