As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will interact with the public, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly, all while embracing our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity in every aspect of your job.

Requirements

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect property.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Complete incident reports and maintain logs of observations and activities as required.
Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering the location.
Remain alert to potential security-related threats or suspicious activities and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
Participate in training sessions and maintain required certifications for armed patrol duties.
