As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential threats and monitor for unusual activity.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals and/or suspicious activities.
Report any incidents, hazards, or suspicious behaviors according to Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
Interact with visitors, employees, and/or the public in a courteous and professional manner while upholding security-related requirements.
Assist with access control and verify credentials as required by site policies.
Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.
Baton certification is preferred.
