Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Shopping Center Patrol in Killeen, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a retail location. Your role will involve monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification is preferred.
Handcuffing Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as required by site protocols.
Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to staff, customers, and visitors.
