As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree are required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III armed certification in Texas is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, loss, and/or disturbances within the retail environment.
Document incidents, observations, and any unusual activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment for customers and employees.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, alarms, and/or requests for assistance while on patrol.
