As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and emerging situations with calm professionalism. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide high-level customer service, and communicate clearly while documenting security-related activity. You will represent an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, including regular and random patrol patterns based on site requirements.
  • Monitor access points, observe for unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or disruptive behavior through high-visibility presence and professional communication.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assessing conditions, coordinating with site contacts and/or law enforcement, and providing clear updates.
  • Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and policy exceptions, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant information per site procedures.
