Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Residential Patrols Full-Time in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a residential location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

Applicants must have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
Applicants must have 1 or more years of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering the location to help to maintain a secure environment.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns to management and/or appropriate authorities.
Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements, including those specific to armed patrol posts.
