About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Residential Patrol in DALLAS, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a prestigious residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and provides the opportunity to interact with residents and guests, offering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and company protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for potential hazards.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points, verifying credentials and helping to maintain authorized access to the premises.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, concerns, or observations.
  • Complete incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Remain alert and aware throughout the shift, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or violations.
