As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for residents. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to conduct routine mobile patrols while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation skills as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the residential location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when appropriate.
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the residential location.
Follow all site-specific protocols, including those related to the carrying and use of firearms, in accordance with company and local regulations.
