Requirements

An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those that may require the use of armed intervention in accordance with Allied Universal's guidelines and training.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter, both on foot and/or by vehicle, to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within a commercial real estate location to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity.
Complete detailed security-related reports documenting observations, incidents, and/or actions taken while on duty.
Collaborate with property management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Follow all company policies and procedures regarding the use of firearms, protective equipment, and security-related technology.
