As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor and report any security-related concerns or unusual circumstances to the appropriate authorities or Allied Universal management.
Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required.
Complete accurate and timely incident reports and daily activity logs as directed by Allied Universal policies.
