As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or unauthorized access.
Remain alert and observant while interacting with staff, customers, and visitors, addressing security-related concerns as they arise.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal policies.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal guidelines for armed personnel.
