Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and address any suspicious behavior.
Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or government personnel, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a strong security-related focus.
Complete thorough and accurate reports related to daily activities, incidents, and/or any observed irregularities.
Follow all client and Allied Universal protocols for armed security-related work, including proper handling and maintenance of issued equipment.
