As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and engage with those on site to provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Must possess a Level III armed certification for Texas roles only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats within the transportation environment.
