Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying identification and credentials as required by location policies.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or conditions to the appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement.
Prepare detailed and accurate written reports of incidents, activities, and observations during assigned shifts.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related objectives specific to the food and beverage industry environment.
Participate in ongoing training and maintain all required certifications necessary for armed security-related duties at the location.
