As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. You will support staff and visitors with customer-focused service while documenting observations and reporting concerns. Requirements

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Have 1+ years law enforcement experience OR 2+ years security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years security experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access-control issues.
  • Monitor entrances, customer areas, and restricted spaces; screen and/or verify access for employees, vendors, and visitors according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide assistance and information to staff and customers as needed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs; communicate findings to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
