As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for people and operations. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and local regulations, including completing required checks and documentation.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help discourage unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at gates, entrances, and/or shipping and receiving points by verifying identification, checking credentials, issuing visitor access as directed, and maintaining entry and exit logs.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations in reports, and communicate with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
