Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal's procedures.
Collaborate with store personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, disturbances, and/or other unwanted activity within the retail environment.
