Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Unit in Cincinnati, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will monitor activity, control access, respond to alarms and/or irregular conditions, and document events with clear communication. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, customers, and/or visitors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Carry out armed post duties in accordance with licensing requirements, use-of-force guidelines, and site instructions, including maintaining control of issued equipment and promptly reporting any issues.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, ATM areas, and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity, identify hazards, and/or report maintenance concerns.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity notes, and communicate key information during shift transitions.
