Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
• Support cash-handling and opening and/or closing activities as assigned, maintaining a visible presence to help deter criminal activity at the location.
