About The Position
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Store in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for suspicious activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior within the retail environment.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as needed.
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
- Support loss prevention efforts by being a visible presence and assisting with investigations as directed by site leadership.
