As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with staff and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as appropriate for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized access.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, following established guidelines.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to clients and staff.
