As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with staff and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as appropriate for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, following established guidelines.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to clients and staff.
