About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Camden, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service while patrolling a dynamic aerospace and defense location. This role requires both an active armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license to meet driving and/or armed post requirements. You will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment, supporting our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols set for armed personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, with particular attention to areas relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel to help to deter potential threats.
Maintain a visible presence on location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required for armed patrol posts.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on observations, incidents, and activities during assigned shifts.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to support a secure environment in accordance with location requirements.
