As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit, maintaining awareness of the environment in a government setting.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift as required by Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary, following established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to clients and the public within the government location.
