Requirements

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess an Act 235 qualification for Pennsylvania only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting site access control procedures.
Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
