As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Response in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to situations as needed. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
Hold an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Pepper spray certification is preferred.
Guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor for suspicious activities and report any security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Maintain a professional presence while carrying out armed patrol duties as required by the post profile.
Complete required documentation and incident reports as necessary for all security-related activities.
