Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting findings as necessary.
Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms as part of assigned duties, following all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal protocols.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during assigned shifts.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when situations require additional response or support.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors within the financial institution environment.
