Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and conduct routine patrols throughout a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor access points and control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with established procedures for logistics and distribution locations.
Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as necessary to address security-related concerns and/or incidents.
Remain alert and attentive while on duty, including during patrols and stationary assignments, to help to deter potential threats and/or suspicious activity.
Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms and/or other security-related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
