As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Guard in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and/or policy violations, and help to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and timely reporting.
• Support law enforcement, transit personnel, and/or first responders during emergencies, service disruptions, evacuations, and other security-related events as directed.
