As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Financial in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment at a financial institution location. Your role will involve routine patrols, staying visible to promote a sense of security, and responding promptly to incidents. This position requires both an armed guard license and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle and/or on foot. Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate protocols for armed security personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points, verifying identification and controlling entry as required.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors in a financial institution setting.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as necessary, following established procedures for armed personnel.
