As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents through visible patrols and proactive engagement within a financial institution setting. You will maintain a strong presence, monitor assigned areas, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our core values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Requirements

  • A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • A minimum of one year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of incidents, patrols, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related situations.
  • Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with state laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific requirements.
