As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driving Role in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving and armed post requiring a valid driver’s license and armed credentials. Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout lobbies, parking areas, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and assist with controlling entry and exit activity for buildings, restricted areas, and/or service locations.
  • Support property operations by preparing incident reports, communicating with local agencies when needed, and following post orders for commercial real estate locations with varying environments and conditions.
